Rawla Jojawar
Set among the ancient Aravalli Hills outside Deogarh in Rajasthan, Rawla Jojawar is a lovely homestay that has retained its colonial charm dating back to a time when the British elite stayed here. The owners are part of the local nobility, and are very hospitable and willing to share their experiences with guests. There are 35 spacious rooms, all uniquely but tastefully decorated in classic Indian motifs and lovingly renovated, keeping the ancient architectural principles of Vaastu in mind. All rooms have air conditioning and are connected to equally pretty bathrooms with all the modern amenities. Comfortably large beds and furniture still leave generous amounts of room to move around.
