We were very pleased with the organisation of our visit to Kamptee. With such short notice, you did a great job getting the contacts with the gentleman, Father Sebasti who in turn made contact with Noel Joseph and in turn George Taj. We were thrilled that our guide Irfan and driver Mr Singh, rearranged our afternoon so that we could wait till Noel could return to Kampti in the afternoon. We enjoyed a fill-in drive and visit to Ramtek temple. Guide Irfan and driver Roshan were most accommodating, as our day didn't finish til 5.50pm back in Nagpur. Noel took us back to the cemetery. He had arranged for us to go to the Nagpur Diocese office the next day, where he had arranged with George to view the archived books and registers kept there from the Garrison Church in Kampti. Several officials helped us in Nagpur. We were thrilled to find our family Baptism registrations and some extra information, which proved our ancestor had been in the Army at Kampti a gunner in the D Troop, Horse Artillery, Kampti.
