An Introduction To The City Of Angels, Bangkok Tailor-made

Bangkok is a culture vulture’s paradise with layer upon layer of history and what place better to breathe all this in than to stay in a boutique heritage hotel in the city centre.  Ariyasom Villas Hotel is an authentic 1940s Thai villa which has been lovingly restored into its current form and is an excellent location to use as a springboard to see the old city.  The old city, otherwise referred to as Rattanakosin Island, is the site of the key cultural attractions, namely, The Grand Palace, Wat Phra Kaew (the Temple Of The Emerald Buddha) and Wat Pho (the Temple Of The Reclining Buddha), as well as Wat Arun (the Temple Of Dawn) which is a stone’s throw away on the other side of the Chao Phraya River.  This 9 day traditional Bangkok break is aimed at first time visitors to the Thai capital in order to familiarise themselves with some of its main attractions and to get a feel of this deeply historical and cultural city.
