

Day 1: Arrive Kathmandu. Drive to Pharping (Neydo Monastery)
Saturday 2 October
Arrive Kathmandu in the morning. Drive to Pharping & participate in regular Monastery’s activities, including interaction with Monks & regular prayer. Overnight in Neydo Monastery Guest House.

Day 2: Visit Patan City, Bodhnath & Pashupatinath
Sunday 3 October
After breakfast drive to Patan and enjoy a heritage walking tour of Patan- the City of Arts and Architecture renowned for its fine works in bronze, silver and copper. Visits include the Durbar Square, Patan Museum and Hiranya Verna Mahabihar. Afternoon visit Boudhanath- a site of great veneration for Buddhists. Finish your day with witnessing evening prayer at Pashupatinath- the most sacred of all Hindu Temples in Nepal situated on the banks of the Holy Bagmati River. Overnight at Nepali Ghar Hotel. B

Day 3: Chitwan National Park
Monday 4 October
Drive to the airport for flight to Bharatpur. On arrival transfer to hotel. Afternoon enjoy jungle activities. Chitwan was granted the status of a World Heritage Site in 1984. Sightings of over 500 species of birds and 43 species of mammals have been documented. The one horned rhino population appears to be recovering. Two nights at the Himalayan Wildlife Sanctuary. B, L, D

Day 4: Full Day of Jungle Activities
Tuesday 5 October
Full day jungle activities include Jeep Safari, Canoe ride, Jungle walk & Cultural dance show. B, L, D

Day 5: To Pokhara
Wednesday 6 October
Drive to Bharatpur for flight to Pokhara. Afternoon boat ride on the delightful Phewa Lake & visit Peach Stupa at sunset. Two nights at the Bodhi Suites. B

Day 6: Pokhara Sightseeing
Thursday 7 October
Morning Pokhara sightseeing includes visiting the Devi’s Fall – also called Hell’s Fall. See the Seti River flowing wildly through its deep gorge. Explore the Old Bazaar and visit the important shrine of Bindhyabasini Mandir, dedicated to the Goddess Bhagwati. Afternoon at leisure B

Day 7: To Kathmandu
Friday 8 October
Morning flight to Kathmandu. Afternoon visit Bhaktapur, home of medieval art & architecture, also known as the “City of Devotees”. Walk along the cobbled streets and marvel at the magnificent ancient architecture. Evening a farewell Nepali dinner with cultural dance show. Overnight at Nepali Ghar Hotel. B

Day 8: Depart Kathmandu
Saturday 9 October
Transfer to airport for departure flight B
