Day 1: To Cochin

Depart London Heathrow on Emirates Airlines flight to Coochin via Dubai.

Day 2: Cochin Sightseeing

Arrive Cochin. Afternoon sightseeing of Cochin includes visiting the Jewish Town & Synagoguge, the Dutch Palace, St Francis Church and the Chinese fishing nets. Two nights at the Brunton Boatyard

Day 3: Fishing Village & Cruise

Morning enjoy visiting a fishing village of Kumbalangi- India’s first designated ecotourism village and the first rural tourism village of the
state. Evening Brunton Boatyard’s courtesy sunset harbour cruise, if the tide is right- watch the intriguing Chinese fishing nets at work. B

Day 4: To Periyar

Morning drive to Periyar. Evening enjoy an Introduction to Spices. Spice Village's master chefs share some of their skills with you at the evening cookery classes. Here you will learn the secrets of traditional Kerala cooking. And of course, you will enter the magical world of Indian spices. What they are, how to use them, combine them, and savour the special magic they bring to even the most commonplace foods. Best of all, your friends at home will be cardomom green with envy once you return with your new-found secrets. Two nights at the Spice Village B

Day 5: Plantation Walk & Boat Ride

Morning enjoy a spice plantation walking tour. Afternoon enjoy a boat ride on the Lake Periyar to watch the wildlife come to the shore to drink. B

Day 6: Kumarakom, Sunset Cruise

After breakfast drive to Kumarakom. Evening enjoy hotel’s courtesy sunset cruise. Two nights at the Coconut Lagoon. B

Accommodation: Coconut Lagoon, Kumarakom

Day 7: Day On Houseboat

Midday board the Kettuvalam (Houseboat) for cruising on the backwaters of Kerala. The backwaters is a maze of bridges and canals set in a
labyrinth of backwater channels laced with endless stretches of lakes and lagoons. Over 900 km of this intricate network is navigable. Lunch will be served on the houseboat B

Day 8: Drive to Marari Beach Resort

Late morning drive to Mararikulam. Two nights at the Marari Beach Resort B

Day 9: Marari Beach Resort

Day at Leisure B

Day 10: To London

Transfer to the airport for Emirates Airlines flight back to London via Dubai.
