Day 1: To Bangkok & Chiang Mai

Morning departure from London Heathrow on direct Thai Airways flight to Bangkok and onwards to Chiang Mai

Day 2: Bangkok & Chiang Mai

Met on arrival and transfer to the Tamarind Village Hotel for three nights. The rest of the day is at leisure until early evening, when you can wander
out of your hotel and explore the vibrant night market. Three nights at the Bodhi Serene Hotel.

Accommodation: Bodhi Serene Hotel, Chiang Mai

Day 3: Sightseeing

Set off at first light, arriving in time to witness the saffron-robed monks emerge from their monasteries at Wat Phra Thad Doi Suthep, the
most important temple in Northern Thailand. Continue your spiritual journey at unique Wat Umong. Feeling sufficiently soulful, head to a
popular local restaurant for a hearty bowl of khaosoi, Chiang Mai’s most famous dish. The rest of your day will be at leisure. B

Day 4: Chiang Mai

Spend a day at Doi Inthanon National Park. Venture away from the buzz of Chiang Mai’s city centre, driving into the hills for a day of trekking through
the pristine landscapes of Thailand’s north. B

Day 5: Bangkok & Kanchanaburi

Morning flight to Bangkok and onward road transfer to Kanchanaburi.

Day 6: Hellfire pass and train ride

Today explore Kanchanaburi, home to the River Kwai and it's infamous bridge. Later visit the Hellfire Pass Memorial and board the historic "Death Railway" train to Wang Po, passing over the original wooden viaduct. B

Day 7: Bangkok

Early start to Damern Saduak Floating Market, where Thai style canoes laden with everything under the sun - paddle the waterways selling their
wares. Thereafter continue to Bangkok. Two nights at the Chatrium Hotel Riverside Bangkok. B

Day 8: Grand Palace

After breakfast, visit the Grand Palace, an architectural wonder of golden stupas, walls and pillars encrusted in shining and colourful mosaics. B

Day 9: To Phuket - Elephant Hill

Take a morning flight to Phuket where you will be met by the Elephant hills team, and transferred to their jungle camp in Khao Sok National Park.
During your stay you will spend time with the camp's resident Asian elephants, learning about their welfare and upkeep. overnight at the Elephant Hills Camp in a luxury tent. B, D


Day 10: Rainforest Camp

Board a traditional long-tail boat to Elephant Hills Rainforest Camp, where safari tents are pitched upon floating platforms. Hop in a kayak to spot for
wildlife close to the water, and look for primates high in the canopy. B, L, D

Day 11: Khao Lak

A final morning of exploring Khao Sok National Park by kayak and on foot. After lunch join the shared transfer to Khao Lak. B

Day 12-15: Khao Lak

Days will be at leisure to relax on the beach B

Day 16: To London

Transfer to the airport for Thai Airways flight back to London via Bangkok.
