Uzbekistan’s most famous cities of Samarkand, Bukhara and Khiva, filled with remarkable architecture, warm hospitable people and unique culture. Contrasts of modern Ashgabat and ancient Merv in Turkmenistan, once a center of trade and craftsmanship. Finally, Kyrgyzstan made famous for its mountains and lakes, the open-air museum of petroglyphs in Cholpon-Ata dating from the Bronze age are the remarkable remnants of the Scythian Empire

Day 1: Tashkent, City Sightseeing

Saturday 3 April

Early arrival in Tashkent. After breakfast view Old Tashkent including Khast-Imom Complex 16th C. Madrasah of Barak-Khan, Tilla Sheikh Mosque, Mausoleum of the Saint Abu Bakr Kaffal Shashi, Islamic Institute of Imam al-Bukhari and colorful Chorsu bazaar. See Independence Square and Applied Arts museum. Two nights at the The Grand Mir Hotel. B

Day 2: Train to Samarkand & Samarkand Sightseeing

Sunday 4 April

Early morning transfer to Tashkent train station to board fast train to Samarkand and proceed for sightseeing tour in Samarkand - Visit spectacular Registan Square, remains of Bibi Khanum Mosque, Siyob Bazaar, Ulugbek Observatory, Shakhi-Zinda Necropolis and Gur Emir Mausoleum – authentic shrine of Tamerlane. Two nights stay at The Grand Samarkand Superior hotel or similar. B

Day 3: Samarkand Sightseeing

Monday 5 April

Continue your Samarkand sightseeing: visit Afrosiab Museum and the Tomb of Saint Daniel. Then drive to Konigil village to explore a traditional way of paper making. B

Day 4: To Bukhara, En-route visit Shakhrisabz

Tuesday 6 April

Morning drive to Bukhara, en-route visit Shakhrisabz. Visit Mausoleum of Jakhongir in Dor-us Siodat Memorial Complex, remains of Ak-Saray Palace, Dor-ut Tilavat ensemble with Kok- Gumbaz Mosque and burial vault of Tamerlane’s father. Afternoon continue driving to Bukhara. Two nights stay at The Omar Khayam Hotel or similar. B

Day 5: Bukhara Sightseeing

Wednesday 7 April

Enjoy a walking tour with a guide in Old City. Visit Lyabi Hauz Ensemble, with its notable Mosques, Madrasahs’s, trade domes, Kalyan Minaret, Ark Fortress, Ismail Samani and Chashma-Ayub mausoleums. B

Day 6: To Mary (Turkmenistan)

Thursday 8 April

After breakfast drive to Farab/Alat border point. Cross over and drive to Mary via Turkmenabat town. Overnight at Hotel Mary B

Day 7: Mary Sightseeing. Fly to Ashgabat

Friday 9 April

After breakfast drive to Ancient city of Merv (UNESCO), discover historical park Return to Mary. City tour with visits History museum, Central bazaar and Juma mosque. Short flight to Ashgabat. Met on arrival and transfer to your hotel. Two nights stay at The Nusay or Archabyl Hotel. B

Day 8: Ashgabat Sightseeing

Saturday 10 April

After breakfast full day city tour of Ashgabat. After dinner city by night tour with visit of Wedding Palace panoramic viewpoint. B

Day 9: Fly to Dashoguz. Drive to Khiva, En-route visit Urgench

Sunday 11 April

Short 50min flight to Dashoguz. Upon arrival drive to historical site Kunya Urgench (UNESCO), explore historical park. Then depart for Khiva. Overnight at The Hotel Malika Kheivak or similar. B

Day 10: Khiva Sightseeing. Fly to Tashkent

Monday 12 April

Today you will visit Ichan-Kala Fortress which is a UNESCO World Heritage site. The tour features visits to Mukhammad Amin Khan Madrasah, Mukhammad Rahimkhan Madrasah, Kalta Minor, Juma Mosque, Toshkhovli Palace, Pakhlavan Makhmud Mausoleum. Chance to climb Islom Khodja Minaret, the highest minaret in Uzbekistan and take in the breathtaking panoramic views of Old Khiva in Kunya-Ark. Evening short flight to Tashkent. Overnight at The Grand Mir Hotel or similar. B

Day 11: Fly to Bishkek

Tuesday 13 April

Afternoon transfer to the airport to board your flight to Bishkek. Met on arrival and transfer to your hotel. Overnight at The Bishkek Plaza hotel. B

Day 12: Bishkek Sightseeing. Drive to Cholpon Ata, En-route visit Burana Tower & Issyk Kul Lake

Wednesday 14 April

Morning sightseeing of Bishkek. Afternoon drive to Burana Tower. Enroute visit the Stone Warriors – Balbals. Overnight at The Karven Issyk kul or similar resort. B

Day 13: Drive to Karakol

Thursday 15 April

After breakfast a short trekking to see petroglyphs. Enjoy the panoramic view of the Issyk Kul Lake. Drive to Karakol. In the afternoon visit the Russian Orthodox Church, Dungan Muslim mosque and local bazaar of Karakol i:. Overnight in a Guesthouse. B

Day 14: Drive to Bishkek

Friday 16 April

After breakfast drive to Jeti Oguz gorge. It's famous for its red rocks formations that have a name Seven Bulls - Jeti Oguz. Along the way you will visit the family of Eagle Hunters! There are still some people in villages that continue this ancient way of hunting. They train eagles and hawks when they are young and every winter go with them to the mountains for hunting. Overnight at The Bishkek Plaza or similar. B

Day 15: Depart Tashkent

Saturday 17 April

Morning transfer to the airport to board your flight to London.
