The Spirit of Uzbekistan Tailor-made

The Spirit of Uzbekistan Tailor-made

Uzbekistan is still very much off the beaten track. Thus, this tour sheds a fascinating insight into a country with a history going back to the depths of time. Wander ancient cities that still echo to the call of the fabled Silk Road, and, to prayer, from the gloriously decorated Mosques. Explore the highlights of Uzbekistan in a never to be forgotten journey of exploration. Explore ancient madrassas, magnificent mausoleums and Mosques. Wander Old Tashkent, see the superb World Heritage site of the intriguing Ichan-Qala Fortress and sip tea in a Yurt - if the nomads haven’t gone on their travels! Explore the fabled city of Bukhara. Pause at the stunningly beautiful Registan Square in Samarkand. Wander vibrant bazars and try your hand at cooking with a Masterclass. Watch the turn of a potter’s wheel and fascinating Samarkand paper making from Mulberry bark – indeed the famed Babur said the paper was the best in the world! Uzbekistan is a musician’s delight; thus, the tour visits the Opera and Theatre Ballet and, whilst dining with a local family, listening to a traditional folk music recital.

What our clients say

Just setting back after another splendid Indus trip. Many thanks for your help with this and also to Yasin for his guidance and input. Tell him the Trout Kebabs were one of the highlights!! You were quite right there was no problems in Gulmarg or anywhere else, probably helped by a considerable army presence. Please also convey our thanks to Fouzia who kept in constant…
